Scatter graphs

A scatter graph to show the hand span length and foot length of students in 10R. First we did a plan, so we can show how we collected data in the same way. For example Take shoes off for the foot length and hand span palm down. 

 I notice the overall direction of the trend line is positive. Overall as the hand span increase the foot length also increase. The relationship is moderate because most of the scatter point are close to the trend line. So I think there is a relationship between foot length and hand span for 10R.

Lockdown letter for a special someone


Kia Ora. My name is Alyssa. I go to Kawakawa Primary School. I'm a year 8 there.

I enjoy having freedom and talking to my friends online and doing calls. Sometimes we do all

nighters when we just stay up all night and stay on a call. How was your lockdown experience?

Even if you were lonely.

Did you like it? Was it boring or was it fun?

I hope it was fun and relaxing at the same time.

My lockdown was good, it wasn't the best as I was planning it to be. Before lockdown my mates and

I went to Taumarere for a swim on one Thursday. Please tell me about your lockdown.

I hope it was fun like mine.

If it wasn’t it’s okay because everyone's lockdown isn’t fun. I miss my mates of course and

sometimes I miss school just because I couldn’t see my friends.

Sometimes I miss going outside to play and going for a walk only because I missed walking.

I learnt that you have to wash your hands and keep clean and keep your distance from other people.

I hope you feel Better after this letter and make sure you keep washing your hands.

Fun run

Kia ora this week we just had our fun run on Monday the 26th... we had mud fights and everything it was so fun to do fun run i'm lucky to go to inter school because i came 3rd and my dad ran with me so my house could get points. so yeah thats my story about kawakawa primarys school fun run.

Bee report

Kia ora this is my report that i done right now.  Today its Thursday 22nd 2019 and would like to show my work that i just done right now.  This is the story or not even  a story this is a report of bees all about bees. So if you can not see the words please don't comment maybe next you should make the writing bigger it just came like that and how i done it. it can not go bigger or else it will go off the page and it will come out wired when it prints.  So my bee report  has diet ,habitat,behavior,appearance and the life cycle. I learnt lots of things from this insect I would like to learn more about another insect but there a reason why im learning about bees because we are getting bees at the end of the term...

Free writing

                                                                On the weekend
                  On the Saturday I went to watch netball just as that I had to play for the year 6 team                              because they needed some more players so I jump in to train with them. I didn't want to
                  play because I have't play in ages and because I think that I make them lose there game.
                  I was so nerves to play but just as I notice that there only year 6's. I had to be a year 6 but
                  i'm a year 7 not a year 6 but i'm just playing as a year 6. We won both our games our
                   games were the best games that I play I had so much fun I had a run and I should be in
                  the netball team because I so much fun in my year 6's team and having a big run and
                  having a go on the netball teams to see if I could be a good netball team.⚽
               

weekly 3

kia ora this my weekly 3 if you don't know what  is weekly 3 its when you do maths and try to get all of them right if you don't get them right you have to practices them for homework or other things. and kia ora my name is Alyssa and please comment on this to see what you thing. the easy thing about 😇weekly 3 that i can do a year 6 level. I find hard that you have to try to try finishing it. I need to work on is to try another level and try to do my level that I have to do.

Technology

On Tuesdays we went to Hukerenui for technology I am doing cooking class for 6 week. we make pizza last week and we are going to make pasta this week. I had a good time this week because we made pasta this week and i'm going to show the photos.

My conference

The is my conference . last night me and my mum and dad was getting ready to go back to the school
to see my learning on my Chromebook and my math book as well.  If i did go I would of got 20 Rafael. I really like how I got this done and I like my photos as well.

Free writing Living as a milk

                                                        living as milk 

Another day another one gone here on my own in my box of milk. Not having a good time half of my friends got drunken from these devil kids I can't believe that. I hope that no one see me I'm so devastated that i'm scared that i will died with them but one day i'll get rotten and died on my own. I have feeling for my friends but also have feeling of my family. My family still setting in the nice cold frag being happy well i'm here going to get rotten. But if I do I would like to say something to the story my family is important and don't forget that. So well i seat here waiting for me to go back to where I belong with my family and friends I just wait and wait for someone to get me. It's been days and days and weeks i'm 29 days old getting sick haven't been to the frag in a mouth and a half hopeful someone gets me out of here. The walls are to deep down and up I can't do anything and have no friends. suddenly hear something lifting me off the hard bench. The door open I feel the braze from outside I was still in my box staying there quite as.  I hear another door open and just as i thought I was going to the frag. I was excited to go back with my family just wondering if they are okay or not. By the look of my eye the family house was gone for good with new box and new house to not live in anymore. My family was gone I was shocked to see that my family was gone even my friends as well

Tuna and takakau

kia ora this is my tuna that I caught not to long ago my tuna wight was 5kg the length was 23.7 something like that and the geth was 26. something I forgot the geth but I would came 2nd in the tuna comp but unfortunately I didn come anything same as my friend one the other people came first.

Te reo

This week for my blog post I'm doing a Te Reo presentation that I learnt to do with my Maori teacher and she taught the whole class how to do a pepeha structure with our papa's and nana's name in it on both of my mum's and dad's side of their families, also to do it with a character off a movie or tv show I did bart off simpsons.

What Are We Doing To Our World?

this is our assembly video and we work hard doing this and thanks to my teacher and my other teacher for setting this up for us. This video shows that we can pick up rubbish and if we can pick up 1 piece of rubbish every day that will be over 200 piece of rubbish that means our community will stay clean. hope you will learn   something about this video.

 Today I was learning about water cycle is important because water is the same water for millings of years it will rain and rain forever it want stop it will just keep going. And there is some fact about the water cycle. And we need to look after our rivers so we don't need to drink  the same water that rubbish has be in the water.
